I have been working with cresteds since they became avaliable in the US. Over the years I have seen the crested craze come and go several times. Don't be pulled in by *newbies* claiming to be *pros* I see alot of this going on these days and fear it's going to do more harm then good. COLOR MORPHS-
Another big topic. To make a long story short, (using the color red as an example)if you breed solid reds it doesn't guarantee that you will produce solid red babies. However it does make sure that the red gene is in the offspring and solid reds can come from them, even if they don't show the trait. This goes for all color morphs within cresteds. With that being said, I do not list/name babies a certain morph. What I do is list what the parents were that produce the off-spring.
