Welcome to the Brachy Basement. I have been involved in this part of the hobby for quite a few years now. I finally decided to dedicate a page for my tarantula collection. I have a few odd balls in my collection but my main focus has always been on the species Brachypelma. While I have mastered the art of keeping and raising Brachys I am still in the learning process on the breeding aspect of it. I have done several breeding loans where I have sent my tarantulas to other breeders. This is because I am still a little gun shy over watching a male get ate that took many years to mature out. With a little more experience I will get my confidence level back and will be able to enjoy this part of my hobby allot more. My best friend and partner Jeff Aldrich is a very experienced tarantula breeder with many years under his belt. Jeff also works with many different species. As I work on this page I will list everything in both collections as well as forsale, wanted, breeder loans. Be sure to check back often.
As of now there are 16 species of Brachypelma available in the pet trade and I am working with 10 of them. Here are the ones I am working with now.
